Safety Updates

The safety updates area provides the roadside and recovery sector with relevant information that may affect safety in the working environment. It will use information provided to us through many sources as well as near-miss data.

An example of this is the Highways England (HE) film, for recovering vehicles on a smart motorway, a collaboration between HE and the IVR.
